Scope: FaÇade Lighting Design

We imagined the façade as a shimmering water surface connecting the building to the sea. Our goal was to create a ripple effect by running linear lights along the curved mullions and fading inwards to mimic this natural phenomenon. As light travels towards the center of the structure, it is drawn to the pearl, which has a shimmering effect that is unique to its surface. On the secondary façades, podium, and entrances, complementary lighting strategies were used to balance the night composition and bring the building down to a human scale.
