The key principles used to develop the lighting design scheme for this beauty store in Doha, Qatar were integration and sophistication. The clean space demanded a clean lighting approach that would enhance the space without overpowering the displayed products.
Perimeter coves define the space while delivering the base ambiance lighting and rendering the wall texture. The display niches were lit from every angle, creating enough contrast to create visual targets along the walls. Finally, recessed downlights highlight the display islands while balancing the overall lighting scheme.
Above the sitting area, a decorative lighting element resembling bubbles was placed, defining a more intimate space and providing a sense of centrality to the store.
