The lighting scheme created for this F&B outlet was primarily concerned with playing with contrast in order to achieve a sense of intimacy and mystique, evoking the feel of an old Indian restaurant. Vertical surfaces were illuminated to complement the wood, stone, and strong graphic patterns, while also outlining the space and inviting visitors in. The functional lighting was concealed within the joinery, avoiding all visual clutter while providing the required illuminance levels. Finally, industrial decorative lighting elements provide accent on the tables, defining more intimate sub-spaces and complementing the restaurant’s overall look.
