Scope: INTERNAL & FAÇADE LIGHTING DESIGN
To create an inviting and relaxing environment, the façade lighting has a low brightness and extra warm color temperature. A soft wash highlights the architectural details, creating a nice balance of bright and dark surfaces.
The entrance has been brightened to attract and guide visitors, and decorative lanterns that complement the overall architecture and design intent add a warm touch to the arrival experience. The light from the ground floor’s internal areas contrasts beautifully with the softly lit external surfaces.
The limestone walls on the ground floor are similarly lit, blending outdoor and indoor spaces and defining them as the main architectural feature. Additionally, the light bouncing off the walls adds a warm and relaxing tone of light.
The water bodies near the façade were kept dark in order to act as mirrors, reflecting the building and creating a dramatic effect at night. Finally, the upper facade panels were gently washed to create the illusion that the pavilions are floating above the ground.
