Scope: Internal & FaÇade Lighting Design
The façade lighting design for this LEED Gold certified building is based on the tower’s overall verticality. Parallel lines of light are created by fully controllable linear lights concealed in the façade mullions. These rays fade out at both ends, emphasizing the building’s slenderness while keeping energy consumption within allowable limits.
The internal lighting scheme was designed to provide optimal lighting conditions for the building’s various functions while also enhancing the interior design and reducing energy consumption to a bare minimum. To reduce the impact on operating costs, a comprehensive lighting control scheme was developed that took daylight ingress and user behavior into account.
