Downtown Jebel Ali Tower

Downtown Jebel Ali Tower was our first project to be designed in accordance with LEED guidelines (Silver Certification), propelling UMAYA Lighting Design to the forefront of Green Building design. As a result, the Lighting Power Density in canopies and exterior areas was 10% lower than the maximum allowable values for LEED, and 50% lower on all facades.

This project also includes an innovative solution for screening the ventilation windows on the podium (garage floors). Massive LED urban screens supported by a metallic profile mesh were proposed, resulting in an interactive mood-changing facade area at street level. These screens will also be used for advertising, providing the client with additional revenue.
