The Discover Series is part of a collection of “happenings,” which are permanent artistic lighting interventions placed along Emaar Boulevard to create unique spaces, avoid homogeneity, and promote human interaction. These occurrences were divided into five series and placed every 120 meters, alternating sidewalks, to visually connect them and create a storyline, inviting pedestrians to discover and interact with them.
This series, in particular, repurposed the existing illuminated tree sticks that were already available around the boulevard’s trees, reorganizing them into three-dimensional installations that created unique spaces for pedestrians to walk through. The series was divided into five sections: the maze, the forest, the dunes, the fountain, and the star.
