Scope: INTERNAL LIGHTING DESIGN

This seafood restaurant’s interior design was inspired by the sea, with a soothing combination of wood, white, turquoise, and metal finishes. As a result, the lighting ambiance we proposed was bright and clean, reminiscent of the deck of a yacht in the sun.

A series of coves emphasize the wavy effect on the walls and ceiling, giving the space a lively feel. Recessed pinhole downlights highlight tables and mark the general circulation, defining visual targets and assigning a hierarchy to the space. The decorative and feature lighting incorporate nautical references that blend in seamlessly with the overall setting.

The outdoor terrace’s lighting scheme is subtle and low-key, so as not to overpower the views of the creek and the old city. Floor washers, handrail lighting, and mobile table lamps provide the bare minimum of lighting, creating an intimate ambiance in the evening and allowing guests to admire Dubai’s skyline.
