Description

In the lobby, as with the exterior, the lighting defines the layers of the interior and sculpts it with color, intensity, and the kinetic motion of the lighting, simulating the shimmering underside of a wave. Lighting changes throughout the day and into the evening, with additional focus on the preview tanks and exhibit path entries.The lighting at the ‘Blue Hole’ main tank in the lobby simulates the rocky waters off the coast of California. Lighting provides focus and texture as well as simulating the color of sunlight through water.
