This glamorous tower, which soars forty-six stories above the scenic Jeddah corniche and the Red Sea, is stunningly located on the scenic Jeddah corniche and alongside the Red Sea.
The lighting concept is based on an ethereal dialogue between the volume of the building, which is represented by harmonic ripples, and the sea waves. This connection is reflected in blue on the slab side of the subtly washed balconies. Al Jawharah “The Jewel” stands out at night thanks to a white animated effect along the curved fins, which emphasizes its verticality and complements the mass overlap.
The static-dynamic blend culminates in a pair of tight spot pulses at each corner of the middle mass, emphasizing the building’s presence as a landmark in the neighborhood and a vibrant component of the city’s nightscape. The lighting design scheme not only projects the superimposition of architectural elements, but it also employs efficient solutions that reduce energy consumption and environmental impact.
The finished product is an elegant blend of indelible night scene impressions and cutting-edge functional performance.
